This particular TV program focused on the current state of the money market and Joe offered up his 'Main Street' perspective on the state of the economy.

Emmy Award Winning Video!
The Boston Globe and Boston.com won its first local Emmy awards in May 2009. The two awards were for the categories of Advanced Media Sports and Advanced Media Arts/Entertainment. One of these videos titled "Two of a Kind" featured two Red Sox fans talking about Opening Day and one of those 'fans' was Joe Ligotti - The Guy From Boston.

We keep giving up our Freedom!
God gave us free speech and the tobacco plant. Last time I checked it was a LEGAL substance! The powers that be in Washington and in my beautiful hometown want to ban smoking in the open air on Boston Common and other areas! So Joe asks this week: "Why are people so afraid of Freedoms?"
